One of the great things about our hobby is the extreme diversity of different types of collectible agates and rough lapidary rock. Not only is each individual piece unique, but there are seemingly endless types of rock that yield fabulous results from cutting, polishing, or tumbling.
One of our top priorities continues to be maintaining the largest assortment of these materials in our catalog. For returning visitors, we want to have something new and interesting to offer every time you visit our site. For new visitors, we hope you will find Superagates.com to have one of the largest assortments available for purchase and be a resource you can use to learn and engage more deeply in the hobby.
Over the last month, we hope you’ve noticed an increase in the volume of new inventory added to our catalog. Rest assured, we are only increasing that rate going forward.
How It Works
Beyond our traditional catalog, we’re now adding a new concept called Rapid Deals. This is somewhat similar to live selling but is asynchronous, so you can participate at your convenience rather than on a set schedule. Most importantly, this allows us to very quickly offer you a wider assortment of miscellaneous materials at price points delivering great value. We hope you will find it to be a fun new option to explore some of the great materials available!
The process is simple: all of the items available in the new format are offered in a recorded video and identified by lots. To purchase any of them, simply visit the Rapid Deals product page and add the appropriate lot to your shopping cart like any other product. It’s that simple. This allows you to seamlessly check out with your preferred payment method without waiting for a separate manual invoice to be sent. The process also provides inventory tracking capability, so you can easily see which items remain available for purchase.
